Useful tips for inspecting & maintaining your JoJo water tank

JoJo water tanks and chemical tanks are made from high grade HDPE/polyethylene and are guaranteed for 5 years.  JoJo tanks do not require a high level of maintenance and do not rust like metal/steel tanks.  However, there are a few things to check to ensure the best performance from your jojo water tank or rainwater tank:

Useful tips for inspecting & maintaining your JoJo water tank:

1. Check inlet, outlet and overflow for leaks (3 monthly)
2. Check that the lid remains firmly clipped in place (3 monthly)
3. Check condition of stainless steel mesh sieve on rainwater tanks (annually)
4. Check that the gutter entrance into the tank is completely sealed for rain water tanks (3
monthly)
5. Check presence of mosquito larvae in tank water (3 monthly)
6. Check the sludge level and internal cleanliness of the tank (every 2 years or as
