Can you believe that the average person in North America uses 105,7 gallons (+- 400 litres) of water per day while the average person in Mozambique uses 1,3 gallons (+- 5 litres) per day?  This is shocking when one considers that a low-flow toilet in the U.S. uses 1,6 gallons per flush!  Everybody should be trying to reduce their water consumption by changing wasteful habits and installing water-saving devices and greywater- and rainwater systems.  A level of water self-sufficiency can be attained by installing water tanks for storing rainwater.
