Whether the water that requires purification is from rain water tanks or from another source, if chemical purification is to be used in the long term then we recommend that the water be filtered after purification to remove chlorine, iodine and other chemicals that may have been used.  Not only will this improve the taste but it will be better for your health as long term exposure to purification chemicals such as chlorine can manifest in health problems.
