Rare experience of 4 lions roaring (2 lions hidden on the right) less than 25m from an open-topped Land Rover. No speaker/sound system could possibly do justice to the power of lions call. The bodywork of the very sturdy Series 2 landy rattled and the vibrations could be felt passing right though our chests. (*turn up the volume for the best possible experience)

Breeding herd of elephants, although given plenty of space to skirt around us, the matriarch took extreme exception to our presence, no doubt due to the tiny baby in their midst. Notice how the matriarch leans into the corner as she continues to pursue us!
