When silo tanks come to mind, many think of the agricultural applications they are used for, such as animal feed storage – both liquid (like molasses) and grain but silo tanks are also ideal for many industrial applications.
Silo tanks are made from a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, concrete, fibreglass and various types of polymers like polyethylene. Perhaps the most useful and chemically resistant ‘plastic’ tanks are made from high quality polyethylene. Polyethylene silo tanks can be used for storing various chemicals in granulated or powder form or in liquid form.
