Gone are the days when only one or two colours of polyethylene water tanks were available. In South Africa, JoJo Tanks manufacture water tanks in more than a dozen different colours. Choose your JoJo water tank colour according to your building’s colour and/or surroundings.
The old standard ‘JoJo green’ water tanks are still very popular and this colour is virtually a JoJo Tanks brand colour, so well known to many living in South Africa. JoJo green generally fits in well with farms and rural areas. Where water tanks are required on game reserves and other wildlife areas, there are 3 recommended colours. For wildlife areas with an abundance of trees, the ‘bushveld green’ colour water tanks would be a good choice. Bushveld green also blends in well with gardens and lawns. In drier wildlife areas, either the ‘wintergrass’ colour water tanks or the ‘khaki brown’ colour water tanks would blend with the surroundings well. Khaki brown water tanks would also be a good choice for many of the bushveld areas in South Africa.
For urban areas, ‘stormy sky’ colour water tanks are very popular as this neutral colour blends in well with urban landscapes. The red and ‘royal blue’ JoJo water tanks are bright and will be noticed – perhaps a good colour choice for schools and educational centres. JoJo’s black water tanks are also popular and will be suited to certain environments. Black colour water tanks absorb heat much quicker than the other colours – this may be an advantage for certain applications were warm water is better (perhaps for irrigation systems in cold areas where freezing is a potential problem). JoJo’s Slimline 750 litre water tanks are now available in ‘marble’ finishes too – ‘sandstone’, ‘evening shadow’ and ‘meadow green’.
JoJo chemical tanks are available in white, yellow and light blue – this is to differentiate them from water tanks.
Ultimately, the choice of colour for your JoJo water tank is up to you. Most colours are available as stock items, especially in the popular 5000 litre vertical tanks and the 10000 litre vertical tanks but the various colours can be made to order if necessary.
